Welcome
The staff of Jefferson Manor is dedicated to sharing God’s love through our ministry. We are committed to our "Elegant Ladies", and promise to uphold all standards to assure that they are treated with dignity and respect. Our wish is to provide a home where they feel safe, loved, nurtured and protected. It is our desire that long-lasting friendships will be made here, and that residents and their loved ones genuinely enjoy their time with us. Above all, we hope that they will know that it is our privilege to serve them.
Jefferson Manor welcomes ladies who are fundamentally healthy, but are no longer able to (or no longer wish to) live independently. In that we are categorized by the State as a "Type A" facility, our residents must be able to self-evacuate in the event of an emergency. We reserve designation of "ladies only" admission to our program due to privacy and comfort issues. Respite care is also offered by Jefferson Manor contingent upon available space, for those who need our services for a limited time. English is the primary language utilized by this facility.
Our home offers a structured, caring, Christian-based environment to assist our residents with activities of daily living. Qualified staff members are dedicated to promoting a living atmosphere conducive to emotional and physical well-being. Assistance is provided to our residents through medication supervision, meals, housekeeping, social activities, cognitive stimulation and a safe/supervised living environment. Specific needs will be assessed, and an individual plan of care followed for each resident.
Special emphasis is placed on the individual resident, to develop interests unique to their personalities and abilities. This includes social, spiritual and physical activities to assist residents in overall wellness. Jefferson Manor encourages involvement of family and friends for our residents, as it is our belief that attention from loved ones promotes physical and emotional well-being.
Jefferson Manor provides a Christian-based home, however, we are not affiliated with a particular church or denomination. Daily devotions will be presented to those who wish to participate, developed to build a positive attitude toward God, family, others and self.
This facility does not racially discriminate against any individual; abides by all standards set forth by the Department of Aging and Disability Services (DADS); regulations of the Health and Fire Departments; as well as State and Federal regulations.
